About Us

Child Lures Prevention is based in Shelburne, Vermont - and reaches worldwide. Our mission began in 1983, and continues today: we are here to help you prevent crimes against children and youth through education and awareness. Together, we can make this a safer and gentler world for children.

Child safety experts Rosemary Webb and Jennifer Mitchell have worked at Child Lures Prevention for over twenty five years, and currently serve as co-presidents. Founder Kenneth Wooden is now President Emeritus and still very active in his lifelong efforts to protect children throughout the world.

We are fortunate to have Dr. Jack Weisenborn in New York, Cynthia Patrasso in the midwest and Rebekah Goehler in Virginia, serving as State Directors for Child Lures Prevention. They possess a wealth of knowledge and experience in implementing the Think First & Stay Safe program in schools, communities, churches and even statewide. They are talented and caring individuals who have devoted much of their lives to creating safe environments for children.
